Advertising Policy

1. Introduction

Foosoc ("we," "our," or "us") is a free soccer match tracking app supported by advertising. This Advertising Policy explains how ads are displayed in the Foosoc mobile application, what data may be used to serve those ads, and the choices available to you.

By using Foosoc, you acknowledge that advertisements may be shown within the app. This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

2. Advertising Partners

Foosoc uses Google AdMob as its primary advertising partner. AdMob is a service provided by Google LLC that displays advertisements within mobile applications.

3. Types of Ads We Display

Foosoc may display the following types of advertisements:

• Banner ads — small ad units displayed at the top or bottom of certain screens
• Interstitial ads — full-screen ads shown at natural transition points, such as between match sessions
• Rewarded ads (optional) — video ads you may choose to watch in exchange for in-app benefits, where available

We aim to keep ads unobtrusive and ensure they do not interfere with core match tracking functionality.

4. Personalized Advertising

Ads shown in Foosoc may be personalized based on your interests, app usage, and device information. Personalized ads are selected by Google AdMob using data collected across apps and websites that use Google advertising services.

If you prefer non-personalized ads, you can adjust your preferences as described in Section 6 below. Non-personalized ads are still based on contextual information such as the content of the app screen you are viewing.

5. Data Collected for Ads

To serve and measure advertisements, Google AdMob and its partners may collect and process:

• Device identifiers (such as Advertising ID)
• IP address and general location (country/region level)
• App usage data and interaction with ads
• Device type, operating system, and language settings

Foosoc itself does not sell your personal data. Data collection for advertising is handled by Google AdMob in accordance with Google's privacy policies. See our Privacy Policy for more details on data handling.

6. How to Opt Out

You have several options to limit or control personalized advertising:

• Android: Go to Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization
• Reset Advertising ID: In the same Ads settings menu, you can reset your advertising identifier
• Google Ad Settings: Visit adssettings.google.com to manage your ad preferences across Google services
• Industry opt-out: Visit youradchoices.com for additional opt-out tools

Opting out of personalized ads does not remove ads from Foosoc — you will continue to see non-personalized advertisements.

7. Children and Advertising

Foosoc may be used in youth soccer contexts. We configure our ad serving to comply with applicable regulations regarding advertising to children, including COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) where applicable.

We do not knowingly serve interest-based advertising to users we identify as under 13 years of age. If you are a parent or guardian and have concerns about advertising in Foosoc, please contact us at foosoc.app@gmail.com.

8. Third-Party Ad Networks

Google AdMob may work with third-party ad networks and demand partners to fill ad inventory. These partners are subject to Google's authorized buyer policies and must comply with applicable privacy regulations.

We do not control the content of third-party advertisements. If you encounter an ad you believe is inappropriate, please report it through the ad itself (where available) or contact us directly.

9. Your Consent

Where required by law (such as in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom), Foosoc will request your consent before serving personalized advertisements or using cookies and similar technologies for ad purposes.

You may withdraw your consent at any time through your device settings or by contacting us. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Advertising Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our ad practices, partners, or applicable laws. We will post any updates on this page and revise the "Last updated" date accordingly.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of Foosoc after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
